This speech by William Shatner after the Blue Origin flight inspired Ben to wrote the song "Never Recover". (skip to 2:50 on the clip).
This was one of the first versions of the "Never Recover" song. Recorded with Kurt Jorgensen and with Steve Murray on bass.
Ben dives into some of the song. In 22025 or 026 Ben changed the line "its unbelievable its bliss" to something like "when your staring into the abyss". Ben had realized maybe it wasnt Bliss Shatner had felt but something musch more complex. after that Suchy also wrote the song "my heads been out in space". trying to further define Shatner's experience.
Suchy explores Shatner's experience further trying to use as many of Shatner's words as possible.
